The host package installs the silo runtime; the desktop package is the operator UI. Windows gets the desktop client — the silo runtime itself runs on your Ubuntu host.
First proof-of-concept release: host package (silo runtime, workspace/policy/proxy services, agentsilo-install action tool) and the desktop operator client for Ubuntu and Windows. Install is the documented CLI action sequence.

# install the host package (Ubuntu 26.04 amd64) sudo dpkg -i agentsilo_<version>_amd64.deb # idempotent action sequence — run in order sudo agentsilo-install host-prerequisites sudo agentsilo-install images # build the silo images sudo agentsilo-install egress --force # apply egress firewall policy sudo agentsilo-install verify # health checks # then open the desktop client and create your first silo
Each action is idempotent — running it twice is safe. Only
egress changes firewall rules, and only with --force;
without it, the action reports the current state.
